The beginning of it all...

So, I suppose this is the introduction... I created this blog to share my, well, the Flying Hamster's, thoughts about the TV I watch every week. Now, first off, the only place I can watch TV is online, because I no longer have satellite. This blows, but I work through it, with the help of Hulu. Best. Site. Ever. Well, not really, but it satisfies my TV cravings, so it does its job. Now, onto my favorite shows. The show I have watched the longest, and possibly one of the best ones here is .... NCIS. Not NCIS LA, NCIS. This show rocks, not for the premise, but for the characters. They have depth, and seem real, without being too serious. Not to mention the fact that they are dang funny. I watch this on CBS's website, thankfully it gets posted there the day after it airs.

Doctor Who. Those of you that have heard of it will think one of two things. That I am a geek, or that I am a British-loving, Sci-Fi watching, awkward, nerdy, geek. Wait...

Anyways, Doctor Who is a British Sci-Fi show, airing on BBC, that has been on and off for 40 years. It can do this because its main character, the Doctor, can regenerate whenever the actor wants to leave. There have been 10 doctors to date, the last one, and my personal favorite, David Tennant, recently left. He was replaced by Matt Smith. I have yet to discover if I like Matt Smith as the Doctor yet, but I have high hopes...
Also, this show isn't available online, as far as I can tell, so I have to wait until it comes out on DVD.
